Phil Murphy has been a Building Manager, a Large Buildings Compliance Manager, Health Safety and Compliance Manager of a national portfolio of large properties was also a Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service Firefighter and Fire Safety Officer and as a resident of a tower block has campaigned ceaselessly since the fire at Grenfell Tower on June 14th 2017.

His campaigning work is entirely voluntary and seeks to improve fire safety in tower blocks for the people living in them. Some of the publicity emphasising the need for improvements in fire safety in flats is below.
